For over 100 years ATE has been manufacturing OEM brake systems and parts for the European vehicle manufacturers. Started by Alfred Teves back in 1906, ATE is now part of the Continental Group and continues to bring innovation to the industry. From the first hydraulic brake system through the latest high tech ABS system, you can expect only the highest quality and reliability from ATE. AutohausAZ carries a wide selection of ATE brand parts for all your repair needs to ensure your brakes work at their peak performance.

ATE Products

The ATE name is well known as an original equipment supplier to the automotive manufacturers. ATE braking systems can be found on many vehicles straight from the factory so when your brakes need to be replaced, ATE should be your first choice. All ATE products are manufactured to the OE specifications for your specific model and braking system. Whether you are doing a complete brake friction replacement with new brake rotors and brake pad set or repairing hydraulic system parts like a new brake master cylinder and brake hoses, the ATE replacement parts are going to fit perfectly and get you back on the road.

ATE Brake Rotors

Most European car brake systems are designed for optimal performance with significant weight savings at each corner. Unlike many US domestic rotor designs that allow for replacing just the brake pads and turning the rotors to true them up, European brakes typically require replacing both the rotors and pads together. Not only does this give you brand new braking surfaces on both but this gives you back the original power and security that you had when the car was new. ATE brake rotors are manufactured to the same OE specifications for materials, dimensions and any special features or designs that might have been original to your model.

ATE Brake Master Cylinders

For nearly 100 years automobile brakes have been hydraulically operated through a system of tubing and hoses that originate at the brake master cylinder. When you press the brake pedal it pushes a small piston in the master cylinder which pressurizes the system down to the brake calipers holding your brake pads and pushes them out against the brake rotors. Over time your master cylinder piston and seals will wear which reduces the efficiency or create leaks. Replacing your brake master cylinder with a new ATE unit will give you back that original feel when you step on the pedal knowing your car will stop quickly. Please be sure to use all new brake fluid in the system and bleed the brakes at all four wheels after replacing the master cylinder.

ATE Brake Hoses

The master cylinder pressurizes the brake fluid in the system but the brake hoses perform a critical function in the system. These hoses connect the hard brake lines running through the car to the brake calipers at each wheel and because they are flexible hoses the wheels can move up and down and turn as needed. Because these high pressure hoses are exposed to the elements and are constantly flexing and moving they can break down internally. You should inspect the brake hoses at every brake job for any signs cracking, bulging or wear, replace them immediately so you don’t get stranded without brakes. Always use new brake fluid and bleed the system when the hoses are replaced. Check the AutohausAZ catalog for the ATE brake hoses right for your car.
