Kaehler Automotive Equipment, or simply KAE, has been around for nearly 30 years producing relays and control devices for the automotive industry. The entire Kaehler line is thoroughly tested both electrically on a test bench and mechanically in real world driving to ensure the highest quality and workmanship for all of their products. KAE develops, produces and distributes their auto electrical and electronic products worldwide specializing in German and Scandinavian model car spare parts.

The Kaehler lines of products are all direct replacement and OE quality for fitment and durability. The product line ranges from various relays to fan controllers, air mass sensors, electronic valves and even alternator regulators and ignition modules. Maintaining a knowledge of the automotive electronics market allows Kaehler to come up with solutions to common issues found on many cars today while offering a cost effective alternative to the original factory parts.

Kaehler (KAE) Multi Purpose Relay

Most cars during the years prior to full electronic control modules used multi-purpose relays to perform multiple electrical functions. Whether it be energizing multiple circuits at the same time or a relay used on multiple different circuits , multipurpose relays were essential. On many of these older models there may be two or three of these relays so knowing the pin layouts can be crucial to finding the correct replacement relay. A new Kaehler (KAE) multipurpose relay will have the exact pin layout and electrical schematic as the original and use the same voltage parameters so you can just plug it in and get back on the road. Always check for ancillary issues that may have caused a relay failure as well as making sure any related fuses are still intact and the proper size.

Kaehler (KAE) Intermittent/Pulse Wiper Relay

In the original days of the electric windshield wipers you had just off and on, maybe a high and low speed. It became apparent that wipers need to have more adjustment for the real world where you only need the windshield wiped every so often. The intermittent or pulse wiper relay fit that need by allowing for some adjustability in how often the wipers came on and cleared the windshield. There are a few different ways that relays can be designed to do this but each is designed specifically for the car model specs from the factory. If your wiper relay no longer has the intermittent function or if the wipers won’t turn on at all, you may need a new relay. A new KAE intermittent/pulse wiper relay will have the exact same factory pin layout and timing functions so you can plug it in and get back the factory wiper performance you expect. Always check for burned out fuses and any issues that may have caused a failure before replacing the relay.

Kaehler (KAE) Fuel Pump Relay

On nearly all cars since the 1970s the fuel pump has been electric as opposed to mechanical. To allow the fuel pump to only turn on when the key is in the run or start positions, a fuel pump relay is used to energize that circuit. Now many newer cars may have electronic modules instead to control the fuel pump. If your car uses a fuel pump relay then at some point it will likely need replacing simply from age. The Kaehler fuel pump relay will come with all the same pin locations and voltage parameters that your factory original has so you can make a quick repair and be on your way again.
