Description:
Includes valve cover gasket set and valve cover bolts along with eccentric actuator gasket. Does NOT include spark plug tubes, 11127575422, please order separately. PERMANENT NLA
The valve cover on the BMW N51 and N52 engine is the uppermost engine cover on the cylinder head. Integrated with a PCV valve, the N51 and N52 valve cover protects the engines valve train, vents crankcase pressure out of the engine, and contains the port for which the engine is filled with oil. Prone to failure due to its plastic composite material, the internal PCV valve can allow engine oil to enter and contaminate the air intake system. This original equipment replacement valve cover is manufactured by the same supplier BMW used when your vehicle was built. Replacement of the valve cover will take about 4 hours for an experienced DIY mechanic.
Left = Driver side and Right = Passenger side.
