The Audi S range was developed by quattro Gmbh in the 80s. This range of Audis represent the performance versions of most of the popular coupe and sedan Audis already produced. Now Audi Sport GmbH, “S” models will often come with an array of performance modifications, styling customizations, as well as upgraded Audi wheels and tires. Each of the Audi S-models is equipped with their in-house Quattro 2-axled drivetrain. The 4WD setup provides massive amounts of torque to each of the wheels throughout the RPM band. The Audi S5 was introduced in 2007 during the B8 generation. The S5 is described by many as a more aggressive looking S4, with higher end torque and HP. The S5 was available in 2-door coupe and convertible as well as a 5-door fastback release. The 4.2L V8 featured Audi’s fuel stratified injection system. This prompted better and quicker delivery to the internal combustion chambers. The S5 also featured the bi-Xenon integrated headlights. These are quite sleek at nighttime, but not at all cheap to replace.
