Audi brake rotor typically cost between $4.39 and $687.99.
Audi brake rotors come in all shapes, sizes, and even etchings. Most Audis have traditional brake discs or also called brake rotors; older vehicles had brake drums. Brake drums work by internal pistons pressing against the brake linings which in turn applied friction to the wheel and slowed the car down. Audi brake rotors have a brake pad loaded caliper that squeezes the brake rotors which are attached to your Audi wheel via the wheel hub.
Common types of Audi brake rotors include:
- Cross drilled rotors work better in damper climates by delivering more stopping friction.
- Slotted brake rotors remove excess gas by preventing constant friction between the rotor material and the pad compound.
- Brake rotors with Ceramic coating or proprietary coating from Zimmermann prevent rust long-term.
- Standard brake discs offer Audi drivers the cheapest option.
Whichever type of Audi brake rotor you choose, we offer all of the most popular European brake disc brands. Many of the OEM brakes that we offer allow you to replace both sides of the car for the price of one rotor at your local Audi dealer. The reason we don’t kit Audi brakes is that many drivers like to re-use their brake pad wear sensors. We also believe the customer should be able to choose what brake pads they want to strap onto their new Audi brake rotors.
