Responsible for delivering the power steering fluid from your power steering pump to the rack and pinion, your BMW power steering hose is one of the more important fluid conduits in your X5. A lack of pressure as in your BMW cooling system, will cause all subsequent BMW engine parts to be starved of the power steering fluid.

When you think of BMW power steering hoses, you should first determine which hose is the problematic one. Is it the pump to the reservoir? Perhaps the power steering pump to the steering rack?
