Nissens is a Danish company that specializes in cooling and air conditioning products which has been in business since 1921. A Nissens radiator often includes design improvements for better flow to maximize your engine cooling efficiency. All radiator designs are thoroughly tested for corrosion, vibration, pressure impulse, thermal expansion and performance so that you can be sure it will last.
    The Radiator in your Mercedes helps to maintain optimal engine operating temperature by removing heat from the engine coolant. When the engine thermostat opens, the hot coolant flows into the radiator where air flows over finned coils, this air removes the heat from the coolant before returning it to the engine. Over time, contaminates from the engine can clog the coils in the radiator preventing coolant flow. In addition, due to it's location in front of the engine, the radiator is susceptible to road debris that can clog the fins preventing air flow or even puncture the coils causing the radiator to leak. This Nissens radiator is a cost-effective premium replacement radiator for the 2002-2005 C230, 2001-2005 C240, 2006-2007 C280 4Matic, 2001-2005 C320, 2006-2007 C350 4Matic, 2002-2004 C32, 2005-2006 C55, 2003-2005 CLK320, 2003-2006 CLK500, 2003-2006 CLK55, and 2005-2006 SLK350 Mercedes models, manufactured to fit and function as well if not better than the original equipment radiator.
