  • The blower motor resistor on the 2001-2009 S60, 1999-2006 S80, 2001-2007 V70, 2003-2007 XC70, and 2003-2014 XC90 Volvo models controls the speed of the blower fan for the vehicle’s climate control system.
  • Based on the difference between actual temperature in the vehicle and the temperature selected by the driver, the blower motor resistor speeds up or slows down the blower motor to maintain the cabin temperature selected.
  • If the blower motor resistor fails, the blower motor may only run a one speed or not even run at all.
  • This Behr blower motor resistor is the same blower motor used by Volvo when your vehicle was new and the recommended blower motor resistor found at your local dealer.
