The front brakes on your Volvo XC90 provide approximately 75% of your vehicle’s braking ability. Every time you press on the brake pedal, the softer friction material side of the brake pads clamp on each side of the harder brake rotor, slowing your Volvo to a stop. Each time you brake, a small amount of the friction material is worn off. The Akebono EUR1412 front brake pad set is a premium replacement front brake pad set for your 2010-2015 Volvo XC60 and 2003-2014 Volvo XC90.
