The front crankshaft oil seal on your Volvo seals the front of the crankshaft where the crankshaft pully is mounted to the engine's front timing cover. If the front crankshaft oil seal leaks, not only will your garage floor get dirty, but oil contaminants can get absorbed into your Volvo serpentine belt, weakening the belt, and causing it to slip. The Corteco 82034288 front crankshaft seal is an original equipment replacement for the leaking front crankshaft seal on your 2007-2014 Volvo S80, 2010-2016 Volvo XC60, and 2007-2014 Volvo XC90.
