  • The engine mounts on your Volvo S80 support both the engine and transmission, as well as absorb engine vibrations.
  • The mounts are fluid-filled and consist of a two-piece external casing and an internal rubber membrane with reservoirs connected by a series of channels for fluid to flow.
  • The metal casing attaches to the engine and engine support brace to hold the engine securely in the engine bay during acceleration and stopping while the rubber membrane absorbs engine vibrations from transferring to the passenger compartment. Over time the rubber membrane of the engine mount degrades and deteriorates, and the mount loses its ability to securely support the engine and absorb vibrations.
  • The Corteco 49389729 engine mount is an original equipment front right engine mount for the 3.0L and 3.2L six-cylinder engines used in the 2007-2016 Volvo S60, S80, V70, XC60, and XC70 models.
