This kit contains the timing chain, timing chain tensioner and the chain tensioner rail. You may want to also consider replacing the other chain guide rails on the engine, please see our catalog listings under Timing Chain Guide/Rail.
  • Timing chain replacement kit for Mercedes OM615 L4 and OM617 L5 diesel engine
  • Recommended for replacing timing chain when cylinder head gasket replacement is needed
  • (1) 0019973094 - Original equipment Iwis 136 link double row timing chain with master link
  • (1) 6150500811 - Original equipment Febi-Bilstein timing chain tensioner with gasket
  • (1) 6150500916 - Febi-Bilstein timing chain tensioner clamping rail
  • Also recommended to replace 6150521116, 6150521016, and 6150501416 timing chain guides when replacing timing chain and tensioner
  • Fits Mercedes 220D with manual transmissions from engine # 10-191352 and with automatic transmissions from engine # 12-019518 1970-1973, 240D 1974-1975, 300CD 1978-1981, 300D 1975-1981, and 300TD 1979-1981
