  • This Bosch starter for your 2000's BMW will need to be replaced if your engine fails to turn over.
  • Many people confuse battery failure and starter failure, it is best to test both battery terminals for charge level. If the battery is in good working order, it is most likely your starter that needs replacement.
  • On occasion a grinding sound will emanate from the motor upon startup, this is another indication of starter failure. If the starter engages but doesn't spin the engine by way of the flywheel or flex plate, you will likely need this Bosch replacement as well.

Left = Driver side and Right = Passenger side.
