The 2010-2011 2nd generation Porsche 997 GT3, GT3 RS, and GT3 RS 4.0 models are truly race cars you can drive around town. The 997 GT3s feature a zero lift aerodynamic body creating 100% down force and Porsche’s active PASM electronically adjustable suspension holding the 997 GT3 to the road or track like a roller coaster on rails, and allowing the 997 GT3 to corner better than any Porsche model before it. A 3.8 liter flat-six produces 429 HP in the 997 GT3 and 444 HP in the 997 GT3 RS, and 4.0 liter flat size produces an astonishing 493 HP in the 997 GT3 RS 4.0, making the Porsche 997 GT3 models some of the faster production sport cars ever produced. They are capable of reaching speeds close to 200MPH. With all that power, the 2nd generation Porsche 997 GT3 models can produce, it takes some serious braking power to bring these cars to a stop. This TRW GDB1862 front brake pad set for the 2010-2011 Porsche 997 GT3, GT3 RS, and GT3 RS 4.0 models not equipped with the I450 ceramic brake discs, are the original equipment brake pad set used by Porsche to bring these super fast super cars to a safe stop.
