The Meyle brand name has been supplying the automotive aftermarket for years exporting high quality replacement parts for European cars to shops around the world. When Wulf Gaertner started his auto parts exporting business in 1958 it was to help him get parts for his racing car in the Americas but grew quickly into a major supply business. Eventually taking on the brand name Meyle and producing their own lines of steering, suspension, and rubber-to-metal parts to control the highest quality and consistency. For OEM quality at a reasonable cost you can count on Meyle.
Meyle Replacement Parts
The Meyle brand is well known in the German car aftermarket supplying mechanics with exact fit and function parts for a good price. Their steering tie rods, rack boots and kits, suspension control arms, ball joints, and even CV axle boot kits are all of OEM quality and design. Mechanics have trusted Meyle for decades and AutohausAZ offers an extensive line of these products to give our customers a choice when cost is a factor.
Meyle Tie Rods
The steering system on your car requires tie rod assemblies to link the wheels to the steering gear or rack system. These tie rods allow the wheels to move up and down as well as turn and due to this constant motion the tie rods will wear. If your tie rods can be twisted back and forth easily by hand then they probably need replacing with new Meyle tie rods or tie rod ends. The Meyle tie rods are manufactured to the same specifications as your originals so you know they will fit and perform for many more years of driving. Because on many cars the tie rods are also used to adjust toe-in on the wheel alignment, it is highly recommended to get the alignment checked after replacing your tie rods.
Meyle Steering Rack Boots
Just as replacing the tie rods will be required occasionally so too should the rubber boots that protect the tie rod connection to your steering rack. Over time these boots can dry out, crack, or get torn by road debris which allows dirt and debris to get into that rack connection. This will greatly reduce the life of the inner tie rod joint and if bad enough could damage your expensive rack assembly. Installing new Meyle steering rack boots along with your new tie rods is a great idea and a time saver since the system is already taken apart.
Meyle CV Axle Boot Kits
Front wheel drive vehicles (and even some rear wheel drive) use CV (constant velocity joint) axles to drive the wheels. These axles have joints in them to allow the up and down and turning movement of the wheels and those joints have a composite boot to protect them. The Meyle CV boots are high quality replacements and most of the kits come with any required mounting straps, a packet of special CV grease and in some cases even a new axle bolt. Count on Meyle for your next CV axle boot kit.
