Victor Reinz Cylinder Head Gasket Set
Victor Reinz head gasket sets typically include all of the gaskets required to reinstall all of the parts removed to gain access to the cylinder head. Many of the kits include but aren’t limited to: valve cover gasket, intake and exhaust gaskets, fuel pump mount plate, timing cover gaskets, and additional ancillary part seals that are mounted to the top of the engine. The replacement of these kits can easily take 6-8 hours depending on the experience of the installer.

The Valve Cover gasket will close the gap between your valve cover and cylinder head. These sets sometimes come with the spark plug tube seals as well. The rubber seals are critical to keep in pristine condition to prevent oil leaks. As with many other gaskets and thresholds on your Mercedes’ engine, always verify the integrity of old gaskets whenever you remove the valve cover.
Victor Reinz Intake Manifold Gasket Set
The intake manifold gaskets, similar to the exhaust manifold gaskets, should be replaced every time the intake manifold is removed. Improper installation of these will cause costly vacuum leaks in the intake system, resulting in reduced airflow.
Victor Reinz Exhaust Manifold Gasket
The Victor Reinz exhaust manifold gaskets for BMW applications, should be replaced every time you remove the exhaust manifold on your N54 inline 6 engine. This is a critical seal between the exhaust manifold head and the cylinder head. Be sure to determine the optimal torx specs as these inexpensive gaskets could cause a host of problems if not installed properly.
