Description:
This kit contains a new water pump and thermostat assembly along with one gallon of Genuine coolant to update your Mercedes. Please verify existing water pump has only 2 hose connections prior to ordering. This unit does not have a hose nipple for engine oil cooler hose, cannot be used on models with oil cooler mounted at oil flter housing.
The water pump on the Mercedes M112 V6 and M113 V8 engines circulates coolant through the engine, engine cooling system, and climate control heater. Keeping your Mercedes running cool while keeping you warm. Leaks from the water pump cause coolant to escape and air to enter the engine leading to coolant not being able to properly circulate and your engine to overheat.
