The fuel injectors on your Volvo’s engine deliver fuel to the cylinders to burn during combustion and create the power needed to drive down the road. Wire coils in the injector solenoid can degrade, increasing resistance of the solenoid and keeping the solenoid from fully opening the injector. In addition, impurities in fuel can clog the injector nozzles. Whenever either of these scenarios occur, a lack of fuel in the combustion chamber can cause the cylinder to misfire, robbing your engine of power. The Bosch 62722 fuel injector is the original equipment fuel injector used by Volvo on the 2008-2013 C30, 2007-2013 C70, 2004-2011 S40, and 2012-2016 S60, and recommended replacement fuel injector for your Volvo.
