  • Eldor ignition coils are one of the original ignition coils used by BMW in production and are the recommended brand to replace a failed coil if your BMW is equipped with Eldor coils.
  • Mixing coil brands can result in the check engine light coming on as slight differences in the coils will make the engine management computer think all the coils are not performing the same.
  • Ignition coil failure can result in lack of engine power, one or more cylinders to not fire, and a rough running engine.
