The rocker arm shafts on your Porsche’s engine provide the rocker arms with a smooth surface to ride on to easily open and close the engine valves. Clicking or ticking noise coming from the cylinder heads of your Porsche, poor engine performance, and even engine stalling can be causes of worn or corroded rocker arm shafts. If your Porsche sits too long without the engine running the rocker arm shafts can dry up and corrode and if you do not change the engine oil frequently enough engine oil contaminants can wear the rocker arm shafts. Both not allowing the rocker arms to rotate properly and not allowing the engine valves to open and close fully or with the right timing. The MAHLE 90110534204 rocker arm shafts are the original equipment rocker arm shafts used by Porsche from 1965-1994 in the engines of the 911, 914, and 930 models and the preferred replacement rocker arms used by certified Porsche technicians.
