    On a hot summer day, it is important that your Volvo keeps you cooled down. At the heart of A/C system on your Volvo is the A/C compressor. The A/C compressor functions by compressing gas refrigerant into liquid, dropping it's temperature below freezing. This liquid refrigerant is then pumped into the evaporator inside the vehicle’s passenger compartment where air flows through the evaporator cooling the air you feel coming from the AC vents. If the AC compressor quits working, the only air you will feel will be the hot air being blown in from outside. The Nissens 89462 A/C compressor is an original equipment style, direct replacement A/C compressor for your 2011-2016 Volvo S60 and XC60, capable of bringing back cool comfortable air to your Volvo. Nissens is a premium manufacturer of aftermarket A/C and engine cooling system components, manufactured in Denmark for over 95 years.
