On hot summer day, it is important that your Volvo keeps you cooled down. To do this the AC compressor compresses gas refrigerant into liquid dropping its temperature below freezing. This liquid refrigerant is than pumped into the evaporator inside the vehicles passenger compartment where air flows through the evaporator cooling the air you feel coming from the AC vents. If the AC compressor quits working, the only air you will feel will be the hot air being blown in from outside. The Valeo 8133271 AC compressor is an original equipment replacement AC compressor for the 2008-2015 Volvo XC70, 2010-2016 Volvo XC60 and 2007-2015 Volvo S80 and recommended replacement AC compressor for your Volvo.
