The trailing arms on your Volvo 240 connect the rear axle to the chassis, stabilizing the suspension under the vehicle. Where the trailing arms mounts to the rear axle, there are two bushings, one for the left side and one for the right side of the vehicle that are notorious for cracking, causing the rear end of your Volvo 240 to shake and clunk. To better remedy simply replacing the rear bushing of the trailing arm, SuperPro has created a bushing kit to provide better support and last much longer than the original equipment bushing. The SuperPro SPF1312k trailing arm bushing kit is a heavy duty polyurethane trailing arm bushing kit for the 1974-1993 Volvo 240 and 1974-1982 Volvo 260 models. The SuperPro SPF1312K trailing arm bushing kit contains four polyurethane trailing arm bushing and two bushing sleeves to replace the original equipment single bushing trailing arm bushings, creating a larger bushing surface area to support the weight of your Volvo on the rear axles, making your Volvo 240 rear end more stable with busing that will last years longer than the original. This kit will replace the OE Volvo 1229165.
